Witness: Police changed my testimony

It has gone largely unnoticed that on March 13th, ABC News that a witness (long-time teacher) told a police officer that a teen  (Trayvon Martin) cried for help in a struggle with a man (Zimmerman). The police office responded by correcting the witness, stating that it was Zimmerman, not Trayvon Martin, who cried for help. Link to ABC News story.

Twitter lie: Gas is up 33% in in the last month

A conservative in Twitter claimed today that "Gas is up 33% in one month." This is one more piece of disinformation spread by a conservative in Twitter, tagged in the "Tcot" hashtag. In fact, gas average is, as I compose this post, up 7% from last month ($3.89 per gallon now vs. $3.65 a month ago). Link to the true statistics.
